Consider Number, Height, Color and Style When Creating a Display
There are many uses of a cable display system. It can be used to display artwork or photographs at home. It can also be used in offices and retail stores to display images of products and services that are available. It can be used in museums and art galleries to create an art display. It can be used for displaying posters and banners as well, which are usually of a larger size than ordinary images.
No matter what type of display you are planning to create, keep the following things in mind when you use a cable display system:
How Many Images Are You Planning to Display?
The first thing you need to know is the number of images you'd like to display. Sometimes, displaying just one large image works better than a number of smaller images, but sometimes, you may have a number of small miniatures that need to be displayed. Either way, you can use a cable display system. You'll just need fewer cables, clamps and hooks if you are planning to display less images.
At What Height Do You Want to Display the Images?
If you only have a few images to display, it makes sense to do so at eye level because these will be immediately visible to customers/viewers. But if you have more than a few, then you can display the most important ones at eye level and the rest above or below.
What Color Do You Want to Put in the Background?
It makes sense to create a contrast between the colors of the images you are displaying and the background of the wall. So if the images are made up of light colors, then use a dark color background and vice versa. It also makes sense to group together images with similar colors when you create a display.
What Style Are the Paintings/Images In?
If you're creating a display of paintings for a museum, then you can display images by the same artist or artists who have similar styles on one wall. You can also group images together based on subject matter (portraits together, landscapes together etc.). If all the images are different, then try arranging them on the floor until you come up with a display that looks pleasing and then recreate this display on the wall.
